Potted Christmas Trees

The difficulty level of the growing a Christmas tree in a pot is = HIGH  

Best way to look after a potted Christmas tree, is to replant them into the ground or into a large pot. Keep the soil moist although do not over water them.

Best is to keep them in direct sunlight, keeping them indoors for about a week at a time is ok. Please note that when moving the potted Christmas tree from shaded area to a sunny area, allow a few days to adjust to the Australian sun, example: 1/2 day in shade and half day out exposed to the sun, exposing the potted Christmas tree gradually to the sun. 

To sustain the shape of the potted Christmas tree, pruning is required. The best time to prune is just before winter when the plant is getting into hibernation or in spring when it is waking up from hibernation.

 After a few years it may end up looking like this if the correct care is taken.
